Online consultations

With the world changing at an ever-increasing pace, more and more patients appreciate the availability of our online or phone consultations.

Online consultations are available for new patients as well as for follow up appointments. With patients from Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead and the surrounding area, online calls are a convenient solution for when an in-person consultation is not possible.

For some patients, it means that a move out of the area doesn’t necessarily mean they have to change their trusted family doctor. Dr Sharma has an excellent reputation in Windsor and many of her patients were introduced through word of mouth while living in the area. Many of these patients have continued to have online appointments and there are patients all over the world who request online consultations with Dr Sharma for continuity of care.

The system has proven beneficial to Dr Sharma too, as she can provide continued, seamless care for her patients. Prescriptions can be collected at the Princess Margaret BMI Hospital pharmacy and other pharmacies with whom we have a professional relationship.

Online appointments are provided via NHS-approved, GDPR compliant, secure video call providers. You may need to download an app or a computer program, so you’re safe in the knowledge that your consultation is completely secure and private.

When you call to book an appointment, the receptionist will send a diary date with a secure link for the meeting. Appointments can also be carried out as a phone consultation if preferred.
